Paper tax return date looming

HM Revenue and Customs (HMRC) is warning taxpayers that the new date for submitting paper tax returns is imminent.

Paper self assessment returns must be filed by Friday, 31 October.

Taxpayers who choose to file a paper return rather than online (for which the deadline is 31 January) are being advised to gather together all the relevant information such as a P60 and savings records.
